Dr Lynne Truong, Canberra Chiropractor

​I grew up in Canberra, graduated from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) in 1997 and then relocated back to Canberra where I have now been practising as a chiropractor for 23 years. Chiropractic is my passion and it gives me immense joy to see the positive health and lifestyle benefits that our multidisciplinary team delivers to our Canberra patients. 

​I have experience in manual adjusting, SOT, Activator Methods, Neuro Emotional Technique (NET), Active Release Technique (ART), Retained Primitive Reflexes, Soft Tissue Technique, Total Body Modification (TBM) and Pelvic stabiliser orthotics (Footlevelers).

I have a special interest in chiropractic for pregnancy & children, having two lgirls of my own - Lucy (19yrs old) and Zoe (15yrs old) - who were both born in Canberra and had their first Chiropractic adjustments a few hours after birth and continue to have regular adjustments to this day.


I'm available at Pearce Clinic on Tuesday all day, Thursday morning and most Saturday mornings.

​Dr Lisa Karakochuk - Canberra Chiropractor

​​Dr Lisa Karakochuk began her journey towards health and wellness growing up in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. She always knew she wanted to help others achieve optimal health and Chiropractic care was a natural fit. After obtaining a degree in Human Kinetics at the University of Ottawa, she went on to study at CMCC (Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College) in Toronto, Ontario.
 
After graduation in 2006 from CMCC, Dr Lisa has practiced in multidisciplinary clinics in the greater Toronto area and in Barrie, Ontario. She provided chiropractic care alongside other health professionals in a collaborative effort to help patients reach their optimum health.
 
Dr Lisa has experience in treating all ages, from newborns to seniors. She has taken advanced courses with the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and Switched on Kids in order to further her knowledge and experience in treating pregnant Mothers, newborns, infants and children. 
 
Dr Lisa employs a variety of techniques including manual adjusting, soft tissue therapy, gentle adjusting techniques, Webster's technique, Neuro Emotional Technique (NET) and Retained Primitive Reflexes. Recently Dr. Lisa furthered her studies with Bio-Geometric Integration (BGI) levels 1,2,3.
 
After 11 years of practicing in Canada, Dr Lisa is excited to bring her expertise to the Canberra community and all the clients at Back in Balance Chiropractic.  Dr Lisa feels you are never too young or too old to have your spine and nervous system checked.


Dr Lisa is available at Pearce Clinic all day Monday & Wednesday; Thursday afternoon; Friday morning and Saturday morning.

​Dr Mark Trbojevich, Canberra Chiropractor

​Having played a variety of different sports from a young age, Mark developed a real passion for  health and fitness.​
After a series of injuries, Mark sought treatment from a chiropractor who helped him get back into peak health. It was then that he realised a career as a chiropractor would allow him to combine his passion for health and fitness and helping others.
​Mark completed a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and Masters of Chiropractic at Macquarie University, Sydney in 2013. Since then Mark has worked in the UK and Australia, helping clients through chiropractic care.
Mark practises a multi-disciplinary approach, combining techniques and principles from various fields, including manual adjustments, soft tissue release, rehabilitation as well as dietary and supplementation advice. In addition to completing his Masters in Chiropractic, Mark has also completed his 
International Certificate in Sports Chiropractic (ICSC) via the International Federation of Sports Chiropractic. Mark also participates in regular training and development to ensure he provides his clients with the best care possible. Recently he has completed the following courses:
  • Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Coach
  • Dry needling
  • SFMA Level 1 Certified
  • Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation (DNS) Exercise Course 1
  • Inspiral module 1

Dr Jana Kyte, Canberra Chiropractor

Dr Jana Kyte has been working in private practice since 2006 providing care to children and their families. She has extensive training and experience in paediatrics and paediatric care is a strong area of clinical interest. 
​
Dr Jana has received postgraduate training in areas of neuromuscular stabilisation (DNS), exercise rehabilitation, pregnancy care, paediatrics and baby massage (first touch program). In 2012 Dr Jana underwent further university training at CSU learning about the areas of language development and cognition in children obtaining Deans Award of Academic Excellence at the end of 2014. In 2016 Dr Jana completed a 2 year Postgraduate Chiropractic Paediatric Diplomate Program in Melbourne with Dr Braden Keil (Chiropractor), obtaining the highest score in Australia for the 4.5 hour exit exam. Dr Jana has also been involved in developing clinical guidelines through the ACCP College for chiropractic paediatric care.

​
Dr Jana has 2 daughters, a husband and a dog who she loves spending time with. Her family enjoys active lifestyle, bush walking and music.

Dr Jana is available at the Palmerston Clinic on Monday & Wednesday pm, Thursday & Saturday am, and all day Friday.


​Dr Wayne Haynes, Canberra Chiropractor

​Dr Wayne Haynes is a qualified chiropractor and osteopath, with over 20 years of private practice experience in Albury and Melbourne. His primary goal is simple – to alleviate pain as soon as possible and maintain optimal body function. He is highly proficient in working with clients with acute, sub-acute, chronic conditions while optimising performance. 

Dr Wayne provides high-quality, client-focused care with an individualised treatment plan. He has significant experience in the assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries using manipulative therapy, dynamic functional soft tissue techniques and exercise rehabilitation.

Dr Wayne has published numerous research papers on movement rehabilitation and physical therapy treatments for spinal complaints. He is nearing completion of his PhD on the Relationship between Perception of Vertical and Frontal Plane Dynamic Postural Stability with Academic Performance, Physical Activity and Physical Fitness in Primary School Children at the Research Institute for Sport and Exercise, University of Canberra.

He has presented at national conferences and conventions, has worked as a rehabilitation and treatment consultant to the Geelong Football Team and provided chiropractic care for athletes, Adam Scott, Cadel Evans, Ana Ivanovic, Geoff Ogilvy and many others. 

We also would like to congratulate Dr Wayne has just received his PhD for his thesis in the relationship between qualitative elements of human movements (October 2020).
